OUR MISSION AND VALUES

Vinexpo is an international brand that specializes in creating and developing major events in the wine and spirits sector, organized for and by people in the trade. Ever since its inception in 1981, Vinexpo has been connecting industry insiders to boost sales and stimulate the market.

The brand organizes events in five cities around the world (Bordeaux, Hong Kong, New York, Shanghai and Paris), and a traveling event, Vinexpo Explorer. The group also publishes every year the Vinexpo/IWSR report, which is the most comprehensive survey of the global consumption of wine and spirits. It also elaborates a program of appealing events such as professional conferences, masterclasses and networking evenings.

Vinexpo was granted the ISO 20121 certification. Since several years, Vinexpo has undertaken a CSR process (Corporate Social Responsibility) by acting in favor of a reduction of its environmental impact and by optimizing the local, social and economical benefits created by its activity. Consistent with the trend in the event sector and the wine and spirits market, Vinexpo decided to reach global performance by making the management of its activity compliant with the ISO 20121 certification “responsible management systems which apply to the organization of events”.

OUR PRIORITY ISSUES

Vinexpo’s policy includes inclusion duties (actions towards the parties involved), vigilance (management of urgent situations during events, control of the activities’ impact), integrity (processing the expectations of interested parties) and transparency (providing regular information on our process to the parties involved). Our approach is based on priority issues that are supporting several objectives leading to concrete actions.

/ Improving the environmental impact of Vinexpo’s events within a circular economy approach

/ Promoting coping and wellbeing at work

OUR COMMITTMENT

Vinexpo’s responsible management system applies to all its event activities conducted on its French fairs: Vinexpo Bordeaux 2019, Vinexpo Paris 2020 and Vinexpo Bordeaux 2021.

We commit to comply with the legal requirements, the industry’s requirements (public organisms which supervise the activities, federations, associations…) and the other requirements that apply to our activities. We also commit to mobilize our interested parties.

Under the responsible management system, we commit to deliver a precise framework for the definition, the update and the assessment of sustainable development objectives, with the idea to improve constantly.
