WOW! World of Organic Wines is an area at Vinexpo entirely dedicated to the international organic and biodynamic wine and spirits market. WOW! is part of Vinexpo’s commitment to opening the show to smaller wine-makers, enabling the exhibitors to get involved in a major international event.
Situated at the heart of the show, the area features a design concept centred on tasting tables to reflect the values of these artisan wine-makers. The WOW! Universe is immediately recognisable from its prime location and dedicated signage, making it an unmissable stop for buyers.
Having made its debut at Vinexpo Bordeaux 2017, at the last edition in May 2019, the concept drew 150 organic wine producers representing 10 different nationalities. And visitor numbers doubled: WOW! was immediately welcomed by a large number of importers, sommeliers and wine merchants seeking a clearly-defined organic offer to meet the needs of this booming market.
The atmosphere’s really nice, especially in this WOW! section. It really feels like there are a lot of small producers here. It’s very authentic, everyone is showcasing something they’ve produced themselves. There are wine-growers and owners here, real people with a truly hands-on approach in wine-making. Not just representatives from a marketing team.

There is real enthusiasm and consumer interest in more authentic wines, wine-growers’ wines, and organic wines are the natural progression of this. After exhibiting at Vinexpo for over 30 years as an organic wine-grower, we simply had to participate in the WOW! area for the first time in 2019 and it was a real success: efficiently and diligently organised, with many carefully identified new trade contacts and a real sense of collective momentum.

We sell most of our wines to the UK, which is our biggest market. The North European markets are also very important. We’re selling more and more in France. WOW! attracts a lot of people during the Vinexpo shows, which are an opportunity for us to meet buyers from the European markets we’re targeting.
